The flag of Kazakhstan

The flag of Kazakhstan is blue in color, with a golden sun having 32 rays in the center and a steppe eagle below the sun. On the left side of the flag, there is a pattern in the form of a grid. The sky-blue color of the flag represents the unity of the people of Kazakhstan and the Turks, as well as the god of the sky, Tengri, from Turkish religion. The golden eagle symbolizes the empire of Genghis Khan, while the 32 rays of the sun represent the number of tribes or clans that made up the Kazakh people.
