Flag of Argentina

The flag of Argentina is a tricolor consisting of three horizontal stripes of the same width: light blue, white, and light blue. In the middle of the white stripe, there is a yellow Sun with a face (Spanish: Sol de Mayo). The flag with the Sun is used on ceremonial occasions, while the flag without the Sun is used as a decorative flag. The light blue and white symbolize the sky and clouds, and the yellow Sun with a face is a symbol of the Inca sun god and a national symbol of Argentina.
